How do I download the FX NOW app Windows device (Windows Phone, Windows Tablet, Windows Desktop App)?
To get started, go to the Start Menu and click the Store button. You can search for FX NOW and download it from there.
Once you’ve installed the app, you can start streaming unlocked content right away on FX NOW or you can log in with a participating cable or satellite TV provider to unlock full episodes on both apps.
How do I resolve streaming issues on the FXNOW app?
If you’re having trouble using the app on your Windows device (app crashing, videos not loading, etc.), we’d first like to make sure that there isn’t an issue with your internet connection. If there are other applications you use with your device, test them out. If the issue is exclusive to the app, the first step would be to gather information about your internet connection.
Please visit (http://speedof.me) on your web browser and click the "Start Test" button. Please let us know the results you receive for download speed, upload speed, and latency. We recommend a download speed of at least 1.0 megabits per second (mbps) for a consistent stream with the app.
If your speed is above our recommendation, first make sure your Windows software is fully up to date. If so, please power down your device for about 30 seconds, then power it back on and try streaming with the app once again.
If you’re still having trouble, uninstall and reinstall the app. To do so, press and hold on the application and you’ll see the option to uninstall. Once you've uninstalled the app, go into the Windows Store and download the app once more.
