Why can’t I switch between High Definition and Standard Definition?

All videos on FOX.com, FXNetworks.com, SimpsonsWorld.com and NationalGeographic.com, as well as the FOX NOW, FXNOW and Nat Geo TV apps, adjust their resolution automatically based on the strength of your connection. There is no option to switch between standard definition and high definition, and there is no option to switch between 240p, 480p or 720p.

All we require is that your internet connection surpass a minimum download speed of at least 1.0 megabits per second (mbps).
